What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

I have been playing ever since I was 4 and something I enjoy doing and I’m very good at it.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

One of my favorite moments was winning the SIAC championship at Benedict College. That’s a moment I never forget because my teammates and I came together and worked really hard and got the job done.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

It’s my whole family. They are always supporting me and wanting me to be great. So, I believe the least I can do is go hard for them.

What are you looking forward to in your upcoming season?

I’m looking forward to winning another championship with my new teammates. I want to end my last collegiate season with a bang!

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

DeSean Jackson because he is my favorite football player of all time.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

I love that for my position I’m mostly in control. I have the ability to take the game over and lead my team to victory. I also love that it’s a great way for men from different backgrounds to come together a create new bonds.

What should we know about Eric Phoenix the person?

He is a child of God, without him I would not be where I am today. I also want people to know that every time I step on the field I give my all!

What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

I like spread, RPO,air raids. Because the majority of the time I control the outcome of the play.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A player who loves the game and understands the game. I’m a leader on and off the field with high character. And finally a season changer!

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

God, God is a key factor in my life. He never has and never will let me down.

What stands out about your film the most?

My ability to extend plays and make every throw on the field.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Javoni Mellidor because he works very hard and is about to have a breakout year.
