What makes you the top prospect at your position in the 2024 NFL Draft?
– I know when it comes to this game I am different in every aspect. This pain that I have buried inside of me will always make me want more for myself. I am very coachable and selfless.
At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?
– At age 7, I was first interested in the sport of football.
What is one thing that the NFL teams should know about you?
– Growing up I have been through many obstacles that I would say many people have not been through, and because of that it made me a very fearless and motivated individual. Every chance I get I want people to hear and know why I do what I do every day when it comes to this game.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
– I would donate to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
– Once you understand the power of your words, you won’t just say anything. Once you understand the power of your thoughts, you won’t just think anything. But once you understand the power of your presence, you won’t just be anywhere.
Who was your childhood hero?
– My Mother.
Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?
– Beji Auguste
What is your biggest pet peeve?
– Nails on a chalkboard.
Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
– There was a time where I wasn’t in school anymore due to some issues, because of that I thought I was never going to be able to play the game of football again. I had to mature as a man and get my eligibility back. In life there might be a point in time where you feel like there’s no hope and you’ve hit rock bottom. What I have come to realize is if you just trust and believe in God’s plan and put in the energy you will see the vision.
Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?
– It’s a small school in the middle of New Hampshire, and me being from Worcester, Massachusetts, which is a very populated area, it was a big change in every way. Something special about to me about Franklin Pierce University is that everyone there is very supportive and helpful in making you a better person, and I think that’s hard to find in most places.
What is your favorite snack?
– Gummy Worms
What is the best part about football?
– The best part about football to me is when it’s third and fifteen with 2 minutes left in the game and you got to make the big play to seal the game. That adrenaline rush and feeling is like no other, it’s a dog moment.
If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?
– No matter what, I will always give my life to everything I do, when it comes to my family, and all my loved ones.
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?
– Aaron Donald.
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?
– Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King, and Harriet Tubman because I would ask them why they fought so hard and made selfless decisions in their lives knowing that what they were fighting for was life threatening, it would take a lot more for change.
