XFL’s Houston Roughnecks sign former first-round NFL Draft Pick Tavon Austin
One of the most explosive college athletes ever has inked a deal to play with the Houston Roughnecks of the XFL.
The former Cowboys wide receiver played with the Buffalo Bills. Austin was acquired by Dallas in 2018 from the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for a 2018 sixth-round draft pick. He was a first-overall pick after an amazing career at West Virginia.
Across nine NFL seasons, Austin has recorded 244 receptions, 2,239 yards, and 16 touchdowns, while he’s also added 199 rushes for 1,361 yards and 10 more scores.
