Former Las Vegas Raiders tight end Foster Moreau was hoping to hit free agency with no major bumps after completing four years with the bad boys in Vegas.

Moreau would attempt to get signed in free agency and had a pretty nice market but after his first visit with the New Orleans Saints, the Saints medical team found out that the former LSU tight end suffered from Hodgkin Lymphoma, and he would have to stop playing football.

The Saints would however sign him to a three-year deal on faith believing he would beat cancer, and boy were they right!

Today, Moreau announced on social media he is cancer free and in full remission.

“After a few tumultuous months, I’ve been blessed with the news that I am in full remission from Hodgkin Lymphoma! I’m so grateful to everyone who reached out to offer their love and support; our prayers were answered. From here I will continue to live my life as God intended,” Moreau wrote on social media.

Moreau participated in off-season practices with the Saints and expects to play this season.
