Talk about your experience as a student. What is your major/minor? Did you participate in any other activities or campus organizations other than football?

My major is sports recreational management. I participated in free intramural basketball games during my off-season just for fun.

What do you think your teammates would say is your best quality?

I would say always being funny and a laid-back type of person, but when it’s time to lock in and handle business, I deliver. 

What kind of role do you see yourself in on the team? What scheme and/or position suits your skill set?

Being a leader, competing every day, showing the young boys coming in that hard work pays off if you put the work in day in and day out and practice habits daily and make everyone around me better. I feel like my playstyle can fit any scheme. I’m a team player and love to win!

Who is the best player you have ever played against in college?

The best player I ever played against in college is a former player at James Madison, Jimmy Moreland. I feel like he is the best talent I ever went against and watched the play. 

Which one of your teammates impresses you the most?

Last year was definitely Toddy Centeio, Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Year. 

Describe a time in your life when you were able to overcome a struggle.

Earlier in my career sophomore year trying to find a role on the team. It was just all about opportunity and taking advantage when it was my turn.

If you didn’t play football, what other sport would you play?

Baseball. 

What is something that you are most proud of? What would you say is your biggest achievement so far?

So far, my biggest accomplishment is graduating college for not only myself but my mom, my family, and my friends. 

Describe one of the most memorable plays of your collegiate career.

My second touchdown against Middle Tennessee, Toddy threw a perfect ball. I ran up under it and snagged it with my fingertips. 

Do you have a favorite athlete or professional team? Is there a player that you model your game after?

My favorite athletes are Lebron James and Lamar Jackson. The players I model my game after and watched a lot are Calvin Ridley and Antonio Brown. 

Who is your favorite music artist? What gets you pumped before a game?

Kodak Black. Song: Kodak Black’s Gave It All I Got. 

What is your favorite comfort food?

Fried chicken macaroni and baked beans.

Do you have a favorite movie, TV show or actor?

My favorite movie is Paid in Full. Favorite actor: Denzel Washington. TV Show: Martin. 

What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any hobbies? Any secret talents?

Play a lot of 2k and Madden. I also enjoy going swimming and working out.

Why do you play football? Who or what motivates you the most?

I play football because it gives me a purpose. It was the first thing I loved to do and took hours of my time to work on my craft. It became an obsession. My family motivates me. I want to give my people the life they deserve and the life I deserve which I’ve been working my whole life for.
