Rashard Wright the standout football player who recently committed to Benedict College has been shot and killed at the age of 18.
Rashard Wright just finished up his senior year of high school at Byrnes High School where he committed to play college football at Benedict College. The standout football player was shot at the Culpepper Landing Apartments in Spartanburg County, South Carolina.
Wright had recently graduated from high school and planned on leaving for Benedict College soon to suit up for the Tigers.
Wright was pronounced dead at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center on Saturday.
