Three Former New England Patriots Win USFL Championship
New England Sports Review says congratulations to all the Birmingham Stallion players, especially the former New England Players! Three former Patriots have won the USFL Championship! Each and every one of these hard-working men deserved this victory. Once a Patriot, Always a Patriot.
J’Mar Smith QB:
Smith may have not played on the field this year, but he was a guy who everyone loved in the Stallions locker room. J’Mar Smith would play in only one game this season but he would throw for 160 yards on only ten completions out of 15 passing attempts. Smith would also have one touchdown and one interception. Then the world turned upside down, the Dual-Threat QB would be placed on IR because of a left ring finger injury. At the end of the day, I am still so proud of J’mar.
Nate Brooks DB:
Mr.Lockdown, Nate Brooks would win himself a ring. Brooks would have 43 tackles, two interceptions, and six pass breakups. Do not test Brooks, he will make you pay. The speedy and talented defensive back would have quite a season for the Stallions, one of the best DBs in the whole league.
Scooby Wright LB:
Scooby Wright, also known as the SharkDog. Scooby may not have played that much during the 2023 USFL Season but he made his presence felt throughout the season. The fan favorite linebacker would only have six tackles in his 2023 season. The SharkDog would get his second ring as a USFL Champion.

Congrats to all the former Patriots! Players who played for the Patriots know something about winning, for sure. Congrats to all of the players of the Stallions. It was one hell of a season!
