Talk about your experience as a student. What is your major/minor? Did you participate in any other activities or campus organizations other than football?

  • I received my Bachelors degree in Communications, and I am currently working on getting my MBA.  Also, I am a part of FCA at my school, and a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc.

What do your teammates say is your best quality?

  • My work ethic

What kind of role do you see yourself in on the team? What scheme and/or position suits your skill set?

  • I see myself being a leader, team player, and a running back that’s going to give it my all with or without the ball in my hands.  I think the best scheme that I would fit in would be either ground and pound or a spread offense.

Who is the best player you have ever played against in college?

  • Guam Lee

Which one of your teammates impresses you the most?

  • Chavon Wright

What makes you different from others at your position?

  • I believe what makes me different is my size at the running back position, there are not a lot of 6’3 RB’s at any level. My ability to still have good speed and athleticism with my size is important as well.

Describe a time in your life when you were able to overcome a struggle.

  • When it comes to football I’m very hard on myself and only accept perfection. So, one season things weren’t going according to plan and I had to learn to get out of my head and have fun again. Because that’s when I play my best.

If you didn’t play football, what other sport would you play?

  • I would most likely be playing basketball

What is something that you are most proud of? What would you say is your biggest achievement?

  • Being named as a team captain and being our leadership council

Describe one of the most memorable plays of your collegiate career.

  • One of the most memorable plays I had came from the last series we had on offense in a close match with Glennville State. I was able to help drive the ball down the field and score the game-winning touchdown.

What gets you “pumped up” before a game?

  • Of course with my size one of my favorite athletes and a player I try to model my game after would be Derrick Henry. Then, something that gets me pumped before the game is having my music playing and my opportunity to have devotion before the game and talk with God

What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any hobbies? Any secret talents?

  • I don’t do much, I’m mostly a homebody so I’m just doing some football recovery and playing video games.

Why do you play football? Who or what motivates you the most?

  • I play football because it is something I have been playing my whole life and fell in love with it. It motivates me to continue playing and working hard because I know my reason for playing football is greater than me.

What do you want NFL teams to know about you?

  • I want NFL teams to know they are getting a humble and silent workhorse. Who carry themselves as a professional on and off the field. Ready and hungry for any opportunity given.
