What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

It was the first sport I ever played, and I stuck with it and discovered I am good at it.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Just being in the locker room with the guys and having fun and you can feel the vibe in the locker room.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My mom, I was the first born and she showed me the way and worked hard and motivated me to work hard.

What are you looking forward to in your upcoming season?

Winning a conference championship but we just have to take it one game at a time.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Deion Sanders, in my opinion, he’s the greatest cornerback of all time and returned kicks and punts like me and I think he could teach me a few things.

What are your favorite things about playing football for Memphis?

The fanbase, I love the fans and they bring the energy and there wouldn’t be a football game without the fans.

What should we know about Davion Ross the person?

I am very humble.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

Cover 2 trap coverage. Because I could easily disguise, and the quarterback thinks I’m playing deep and i could pick off a slant or hitch.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

You just have to take things one step at a time and can’t try and focus on multiple things at once.

What would a team get in a player like you?

I am consistent.

What stands out about your film the most?

You can tell that I am very fast, and you can see my speed.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

One of my friends in high school who played wide receiver. He was really underrated because my high school wasn’t getting enough exposure or hype for him.
