What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

My uncle taught me the ins and outs of football and it stuck with me. I decided I wanted to be a football player when I heard all of his stories, they fascinated me, and ever since it’s been my happy place and my escape to everything.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

I remember in middle school when I scored my first touchdown at receiver it was one of the best feelings ever, my other favorite moment was when I scored my first pick 6 in high school it was probably the happiest I have ever been because it was a homecoming game and we were also the underdogs.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

All of my family inspires me they motivate me to be the best person I can be. They always keep me humble and grounded and let me know there is always something bigger and better. I really appreciate them.

What are you looking forward to in your upcoming season?

For this coming season, I’m looking forward to being an All-American.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

It would definitely be Xavier Rhodes he has been my favorite player to watch over the years, and I love how humble he is no matter winning or losing. I try to reflect on his game.

What are your favorite things about playing football for Louisiana Christian?

I love the culture we started here. It feels good to say that we changed the narrative for this program. My favorite things about playing football here are growing up and learning everything about football and even life.

What should we know about Bennie Clark III the person?

I am humble, I work hard, I’ll never settle. I want to be great every day. I’m a person who leads by example. I just want the best for the people around me.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

I like playing man coverage. I would rather play man coverage because it is the easiest and not a lot of teams run it. That’s what I’m best at.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I just believe in sticking through it problems are going to happen all the time it is how you respond to it, on the field and in life my main thing is to just stay positive.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A hard worker, a humble player, leads by example. I want to win in every way when I touch the field. That team will get a lockdown press-man cornerback.

What stands out about your film the most?

If you watch my film you can see my versatility like lining up on the outside and inside.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

The most underrated player I played is my past teammate Micah Dunn, he taught me a lot about college ball and how to be professional about it. We use to go at it every day at practice. He was a very humble football player.
