A public prayer for Deion Sanders

Heavenly Father,

We thank you for this day and the many blessings that you have given to us. Each day is a gift from you, an act of love and mercy that we do not deserve. We are grateful for your presence and power.

Lord, we ask that you be with Deion Sanders right now. We lift him and his body up to you in prayer. We pray that you would be with doctors and surgeons as they operate. Give them wisdom and discernment.  We pray for healing. We pray that, as the great physician, that you would step into his surgery this morning and do a mighty work of restoration and healing.

As he goes into surgery, we pray that you would cast away all fear from his mind and heart. We pray that you would lift his spirit and give him a heart of joy and the peace that passes all understanding. 

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus we pray, Amen
