Are the Philadelphia Eagles the Winners of the 2023 NFL Draft?

The dust has finally settled from this year’s 2023 NFL Draft. With all the picks and steals the 2023 season looks very promising.

But there is one team in particular from the draft that stood out the most. And some would say they are the winners of the 2023 NFL Draft.

The Philadelphia Eagles took full advantage of the prized talent within this year’s draft class. The Eagles were very successful in the first round by securing top draft prospects Jalen Carter who was selected at ninth overall and Nolan Smith who was selected at 30th. These were more than likely the biggest steals within the first round as the Eagles attempted to reload their roster and not simply rebuild off of the players they lost in free agency. 

Other notable players the Philadelphia Eagles took in the third and fourth rounds would be Offensive Tackle Tyler Steen who was selected as the 65th pick, Defensive back Sydney Brown, who was the 66th pick, and with the 105th pick, Cornerback Kelee Ringo was selected.

From a defensive standpoint, The Philadelphia Eagles still have Hassan Reddick, Darius Slay, James Bradberry, Jordan Davis, Fletcher Cox, and Nakobe Dean.

Needless to say, the Eagles are building depth to make a serious run at the Super Bowl in the next coming years.
