What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2024 NFL Draft?

Stats aside, I’m a competitor, leader, and winner. I’ve never been handed the starting job, I’ve always had to earn it in both high school and college. I understand coming from a D2 school I will have to earn any opportunity I get in the NFL. I also understand the stereotypes that are out there and I’m ready to prove myself again.

At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?

When I was born there was a football in my crib! Growing up in a football family, I’ve loved and respected the game my whole life. My first year ever playing was 5 years old and it’s been my dream to play in the NFL ever since.

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

I will do whatever it takes to help my team win.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

Any cause that will protect animals.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

Always be myself and trust my instincts.

Who was your childhood hero?

My childhood hero was my dad. With him having been both a coach and player at the professional level, I have always looked up to and admired him. He has been my biggest motivator and supporter in the game of football and in life.

Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?

The most underrated teammate I have is Isaac Vollstedt who is a linebacker. Our whole receiver room is solid as well.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

There aren’t many things that bother me. My biggest pet peeve I’ve had since I was a kid is my food touching on a plate.

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

In high school, my dad was coaching football out of state and wasn’t able to physically be around much. This effected me not only in football, but in life. It was difficult navigating the ups and downs of being a teenager and athlete while only being able to talk to my dad over the phone. With that being said, I did create my own path and ended up having an unforgettable high school experience and went on to earn 1st team All-State in Illinois.

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

Northwest and the town is truly one big Bearcat family where everybody knows and supports each other.

What is your favorite snack food?

My favorite snack are homemade protein balls with sun butter, oats, honey, and chocolate chips.

If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?

I’m a mentally and physically tough and I’m a winner.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?

I would compare myself to Joe Burrow because not only will he hit the home run balls but he is efficient and can pick apart defenses as well.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

I would have dinner with Walter Payton, Drake, and Michael Jordan. These people are all regarded as the best at what they do and I would love to hear their stories and what makes them tick.
