Seven McGee and JD Martin are two players that are dynamic for the Jackson State football program. While many assumed Jackson State lost their most dynamic playmakers in the Transfer Portal with over 20 players leaving JSU heading to Division 1, Coach Taylor was able to retain a couple dynamic players that will make an immediate impact on the JSU Tigers team.

Both Seven McGee and 3rd year Back JD Martin are explosive players with great vision. Mcgee the former Oregon wide receiver from Rochester, New York can make you pay. He played for the Ducks as a Freshman and was used as a running back and wide out.

Martin the Wetumpka, Alabama native had 129 yards receiving last year adding 173 yards rushing. The dynamic player can beat you in multiple areas on the field.

I believe Coach Taylor & Maurice Harris can piece together the dynamics of Seven & JD, along with the emergence of Virginia Tech Transfer Jason Brown, which I believe will put his name in the hat of the year of the HBCU SWAC & MEAC Quarterbacks,

Others he will compete with are Davius Richard from NCCU and Jeremy Moussa from FAMU. All, can be potential draft prospects.

As long as JSU continues to dominate and pick up from last year, it could end up being a great year for T.C. Taylor and the Tigers.
