Colts keep cornerback home | Julius Brents stays in Indy!

It was a pleasant surprise for those of us who are connected to Indiana high school football to see one player come back home to the hometown Colts: Julius Brents.
Everyone around Indianapolis should know about Brents. The 6’3, 200-pound corner played for perennial 6A power Warren Central High School on the east side of Indianapolis.
He played for head coach Jayson West, whose team had a 34-13 record and captured three sectional titles during Brents’ time as a Warrior.
Brents’ size and length caught the attention of the Iowa Hawkeyes who signed him before he transferred to Kansas State to finish out his collegiate career.
