Browns defensive lineman Perrion Winfrey arrested on assault charges on a female
Cleveland Browns second year draft pick Perrion Winfrey was arrested this week for a misdemeanor charge in Harris County, Texas for causing an injury to his girlfriend.
Winfrey was arrested at about 7 p.m. and is free on $1,000 bond.
He was charged with one count of assault-family member.
The Browns are aware of the situation and gathering more information, according to Cleveland.com.
Winfrey reportedly was pulling and grabbing his girlfriend’s hand. Winfrey is having a bad couple years since entering the NFL. He has been a healthy scratch, was in a scooter accident, and had to delete a tweet saying “Worst Year of My Life”.
We will see what happens, but this is not good for the Browns pass rusher.
