Former Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury has taken a position to work directly with USC QB Caleb Williams
Kliff Kingsbury has taken a job that will put him in the eyes of NFL teams once again. According to reports, the former Cardinals head coach has taken a job to become the Quarterbacks’ Coach of the USC Trojans.
Kingsbury was fired by the Cardinals in January after a 4-13 season. He went 28-37-1 in four years with Arizona, making the playoffs once.
Kingsbury has experience working with some of the top quarterbacks in college football, as he coached Patrick Mahomes at Texas Tech, Johnny Manziel during his Heisman Trophy season in 2012 at Texas A&M, and Case Keenum at Houston.
Kingsbury working with Caleb Williams will help put his name back on the map. Can he help Williams take his game to another level? Right now Williams is already considered the best quarterback in the 2024 NFL Draft and he was named Heisman last year.
Kingsbury is making a smart move, because if Williams does well and they win, he will be back in the mix for a head coaching job.
