Jets and Packers do not appear to be taking about Aaron Rodgers | Could this not end up happening?

Aaron Rodgers wants to play for the New York Jets. That is very clear. He said it on Pat McAfee Show and said he wants to be a Jet in 2023.
Well, there seems to be a problem now. Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting there has not been much conversation as of late.
“My understanding is that there hasn’t been a whole lot of conversation, if any, over the last couple of weeks going back to the owners’ meetings. Both sides now appear to be dug in.”
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the Green Bay Packers and New York Jets have made little to no progress on a potential trade of Aaron Rodgers in recent weeks.
Jets general manager Joe Douglas even told a crowd of New York fans that Rodgers is “gonna be here” while at a radio event last week. The only problem
David Bakhiari believes it is going to happen, it is just a matter of time.
“I think that has probably been put to rest,” Bakhtiari said.
“Could the Packers be really good? Yeah, I certainly hope so and would love that, but also I would be ignorant to not say that this looks like a rebuild. I think the most simple thing is they’ll [the Packers] get whatever picks they wanted, they’ll get it before the draft, and then time will show us. He’s going to be a Jet.”
I am not sure what is going on, but if the Packers are patient maybe they will end up landing the 13th overall pick…..
