Aaron Rodgers makes it clear; He wants to play for the New York Jets
Aaron Rodgers has had an amazing career with the Green Bay Packers but it is coming to an end.
Aaron Rodgers told Pat McAfee that he wants to be a New York Jet, and that decision has been made for days.
Rodgers said that when he went into the darkness retreat he was 90 percent ready to retire, and 10 percent ready to return. That changed unfortunately when he got out.
He heard that the Packers were shopping him, and that is when Rodgers had enough.
“They want to move on and now so do I,” Rodgers said.
The four-time MVP and likely future Hall of Famer will be traded from the Green Bay Packers to the Jets, with whom he’s agreed to play his 19th NFL season.
The question now is WHEN?
