Under Armour will make custom cleat for 6’10, teenage football player who wears a 23 sized shoe
Imagine at 14 years of age, wearing a size 23 shoe and trying to play football? You go to the store and you can find a size 10 through 14 but have you ever seen a 23?
Well, Eric Kilburn Jr. is a 14 year old that stands at 6’10 and cannot find a shoe for his massive foot. He has broken a record with his feet, and now Under Armour is going to help him so he no longer suffers and remains in pain.
Kilburn cannot find a shoe that fits him and it results in constant pain. The Goodrich High School standout plays football and cannot find a shoe that fits, but that is about to change.
According to KMBC.com, Robb Cropp, a senior director for product development at Under Armour, flew out to Michigan to help create a custom shoe for Kilburn.
“We’re going to build the shoes from the ground up and we’ve got to build the machinery or the tooling we call it to make the shoes. It’s going to take us probably about six to eight weeks to get all that done,” Cropp said.
Kilburn Jr. wants is looking forward to playing football this season and not having any pain in his foot.
