Rumblings of a surprise quarterback could go first overall in 2023 NFL Draft?
There are four quarterbacks worthy of a top 10 pick if you ask me, and many feel either Bryce Young or CJ Stroud are the consensus 1/2, but there is another quarterback whose name is getting some love.
After an amazing Combine performance, Anthony Richardson from Florida’s stock is flying and Rich Eisen who is pretty connected said he has heard rumbles of AR15 going first overall.
“Here’s the one other rumor I heard — Bryce Young’s (stock) is through the roof, and CJ Stroud’s (stock) is through the roof, but don’t discount Anthony Richardson going first overall,” Eisen said. “I already heard it after his workout Saturday. I heard some whispers walking around the hallway and stuff like that.”
Anthony Richardson is by far one of the best and freakiest athletes I have ever watched live, but will teams be scared to take a flyer on him being he has limited production.
Richardson passed for 2,549 yards, 17 touchdowns, and 9 interceptions last year while rumbling for 654 on the ground and scoring 9 more touchdowns.
I am not sure he is worthy of the first pick, but shoot I am not sold on any of these quarterbacks.
