Former Cowboys WR Michael Irvin dropped his 100-million-dollar lawsuit against Marriott

Former Cowboys WR Michael Irvin has voluntarily dismissed his $100 million lawsuit against Marriott International.

According to reports, Irvin’s attorneys submitted a filing regarding the case in which Marriott alleged Irvin made sexual advances toward a hotel employee, causing him to be taken off the air by NFL Network and ESPN during Super Bowl Week.

Now, Irvin is reportedly dropping his case. Was this because the Marriott International paid the former Cowboys super star?

The Marriott hotel chain claims that NFL Network staff member Michael Irvin made a lewd remark to an employee, repeatedly touched her, and then leered at her and made a crude comment after she walked away.

“Irvin… asked the Victim whether she knew anything about having a ‘big Black man inside of [her],” attorneys for Marriott said in a court filing on Friday.

Irvin’s attorneys are going to release the video today, but also dropped the lawsuit. So this is a very strange twist of events. I am not sure what is going to happen, but why would you drop the case if you felt so strongly about it? Either he was paid or he said it, right?
