Son of UFC legend announces his commitment to Virginia Tech to play Quarterback
Vitor Belfort was one of the most feared men in UFC who finished his MMA career with 41 fights and 26 wins with 18 coming by way of knockout. Belfort was a feared man in MMA, and his son is quite the football star.
His son Davi Belort is a three star quarterback who has committed to play at Virginia Tech.
The 2024 prospect chose V-Tech over Michigan state and Texas A&M.
“I had an amazing relationship with each coach on the staff. Ever since the first time I stepped foot on VT campus I knew that’s where I was going to go,” Belfort said. “They have been recruiting me super hard for over a year. They want me to be the guy that leads the class. And ultimately they did everything they could to land me. I can’t wait to make history there for the next 3-4 years and help bring a national championship to Blacksburg!”
Belfort plays high school ball at Gulliver Prep in Miami, where he threw for 2,358 yards last year and scored 16 touchdowns as a junior.
