Coastal Carolina quarterback and tight end arrested for carrying a gun on campus

In the last month several Coastal Carolina football players have been arrested, which means something is getting out of hand. Coastal hired a new head coach this year and their football program seems to be having some issues.
Dontrell Jackson a quarterback was arrested on drug and weapon charges last week, while Troy Thomas Dela Vega a tight end at Coastal was charged carrying a 9 mm handgun on campus according to the arrest warrant.
Both Dela Vega and Jackson have been suspended indefinitely from football-related activities, according to CCU.
What is happening at Coastal Carolina? Horry County is a pretty place, do you really need to have a gun on campus? I mean with all the school shootings happening I guess you are better off being protected, but this is wild.
