XFL Attendance: Vegas numbers are very low but the weather played a huge factor

Last night the DC Defenders were able to pull out the win against the Vegas Vipers, in a rainy and horrible weather game.
The Vipers play their games at Cashman field which is a minor league baseball field and has a max capacity of 10,000 fans. Unfortunatley, they didn’t sell out last night to the game because the weather was rough. It was cold and rainy.
The final number per Mike Mitchell on Twitter was 6,023 fans in attendance.
The XFL Attendance this week is not off to a good start. They have two games today to bring up the numbers, but it is not looking very good.
XFL 2023 Week 1 attendance by location:
- Arlington: 12,047
- Houston: 12,784
- San Antonio: 24,245
- DC: 12,438
Average: 15,379
2020 Week 1 average.: 17,455
Week 2 is off to a very bad start and averaging around hal of their week 1 totals. Hopefully the games today can bring in more than 12k to bring up those numbers.
