What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

When I was 4 I use to watch my big brother play when we was little and it made me want to start playing so I started playing the next year.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

I played for Mims Redskins in parkball. We went undefeated and played in the youthbowl which is the Championship. Catching my first interception in high school. Leaving Belhaven with a winning culture.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

Becoming a better player overall physically and mentally. Sharpening my technique and Football IQ. Be a inspiration to all the small school guys.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Brent Grimes because he was a elite lockdown corner who was about the same size as me or Davante Adams because he is a good WR I feel like I can learn a lot in what he looks for in a corner he’s going against.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

A lot of people in my family inspire me but I would choose my Dad. He is a man of God and works hard.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

I was on a 3-3-5 defense at Belhaven. It gives you flexibility to stop the run and pass.

What should we know about Phazion Locke the person?

I keep God first and I work hard at everything I do.

What stands out about your film the most?

Making plays on the ball in zone and man. Tight coverage and great tackles in open field.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

God helps me with my challenges. I just work hard and let him handle the rest.

What would a team get in a player like you?

Passionate and confident player who loves to watch film. A great special teams player. A player who can play outside corner or nickel and willing run supporter. I am very competitive and coachable.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

The mental and physical toughness. It takes a strong mind and body to play this game. Also the discipline, teamwork, and work ethic.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Michael Simpson was a great WR and returner he made a lot of big plays for us in big games.
