What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Coming out of high school I was fixed on becoming a soccer player and my english wasn’t great so that held me back from that. So then that’s when I decided I’d give it a shot to be a football player.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Just being around my teammates everyday and that lasts forever and making a couple game winning kicks in the specialist group this past season.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

Ultimately play in the NFL but also go back home and make a positive impact in Africa and give back to kids the opportunity to play football.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Jason Myers and Justin Tucker, I just want to see their mindset and see what they have to say about the game. In sports the one person I would love to talk to is Kobe Bryant to see what his mindset is.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My mom, she means everything to me and still lives in the place I grew up in so I would love to help her.

What is your typical training routine?

I wake up at 6 and hit the treadmill and at 6:30 walk or run after I stretch and then I read the Bible and then I hit the gym and when I’m back from the gym I watch film and then have dinner with my girlfriend and then go watch more film and then stretch and kick and then go to bed.

What should we know about Eddie Ogamba the person?

I just want to see everybody win, I will go out of my way to help people, I’m very detail oriented and go hard at things i want to accomplish and I take humor out of everything and I want to do what it takes to get to the next level.

What stands out about your kicking form the most?

My form is like Jason Myers and I try to make the kick look effortless.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I handle challenges in life through prayer, and being detailed oriented and controlling what I can control and not what I can’t control.

What would a team get in a player like you?

Someone who is hardworking, detail oriented and put in the effort to do what it takes and does the dirty work and someone who is big on faith.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

The challenges that come with it and it prepares you for real life. So some people hit a wall and fall down and don’t pick themselves up but in the game of football you learn to pick yourself up.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Brock Purdy, I watched prepare for games everyday and I watch him be a leader and put in the work everyday and he’s more of a leader than people see him as and the way he carries himself everyday makes him a special player.
