Derek Carr has informed the Raiders he will not accept a trade to any team and asks for his release

Derek Carr is about to be a free man.
Derek Carr has informed the Raiders he will not accept a trade to any team. He is set to become a free agent on Wednesday.
This is huge news and there seems to seem like several teams are interested.
According to Joseph Person, The Carolina Panthers are one team to keep an eye on after Carr is in fact released.
Carr went to visit the Saints, and while the team did in fact want him, Carr will not accept a trade to New Orleans.
A four-time Pro Bowler, Carr helped the Raiders reach the playoffs during the 2016 season, the franchise’s first appearance since 2002. He led Las Vegas to another postseason berth in 2021. Following a 2022 season that missed expectations, he lost the starting job and agreed with Raiders leadership to step away from the team for the remainder of the season.
