What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?
Playing football has always been my way to escape the realities of the world and it just so happens I’m not half bad at it.
What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?
I’m looking to achieve greatness not only on the field but off the field as well.
If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?
It would be probably Antonio Brown because of the impact he has had on the game and the barriers he has broken within it.
What are your favorite moments from your football life?
When I first started playing for my youth league team Glenwood Cougars and this second national championship.
Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?
My mother because of how hard she has worked in her life in order to put the family up into a better situation. Her drive and work ethic has for sure inspired me to become who I am today.
What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?
My favorite offensive scheme is the spread offense because of the opportunities you have to get your play makers the ball. In today’s game getting your play makers the ball in space is top priority.
What should we know about Marcus Taylor the person?
There’s really nothing to know about me as a person. I’m the type of person that you figure out in person on a personal level.
What stands out about your film the most?
The ability to play multiple positions at an elite level and making people miss in tight spaces.
How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?
I handle them by facing them head up and praying on it no matter if the challenges are positive or negative.
What would a team get in a player like you?
Someone who is willing to go as far as it takes to win in everything I do.
What do you love the most about the game of football?
Is that the only requirement you need to play this game is heart.
Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?
One of my defensive lineman named Ian Hall because he was overlooked being on the defense that we had but he made plays whenever it presented themselves.
