Pittman’s Pocket: “HBCU 2024 High School players to Watch”
It took me a little to put my top 2024 HBCU recruiting targets together, but I believe I potentially have some significant prospects highlighted in this upcoming Recruiting year.
While come Wednesday will be the official presuming of the 2023 recruiting class, in which at NFLDRAFTDIAMONDS & Pittman’s Pocket to have at least 20 Prospects HBCU offers from Fort Valley, Benedict College, to Alabama A&M or Defending Celebration Bowl Champs North Carolina Central Eagles. 6 Commitments almost had 7 but we will let the Bethune situation play out. Furthermore, here are the 5 potential HBCU potential recruits for the upcoming 2024 recruiting class.
Zay Lowery #58
DT Potential 4 ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐, has looked from Alabama and Ole Miss. The kid is impactful in the 3 techs, but even more efficient at the end at times with his 6’3 275 frames. Slippery to block.
Jaylen Neal # 5
Neal is a very good athlete from Yanceyville, North Carolina, and in that town, everybody knows Mr. Neal is the talk of the town. Has genetic size and speed. Very good hands & sense of ball security directed toward his body-catching range. Points 3 ๐ ๐ ๐. Potential SWAC prospect!!!
Grant Pettigrew
6’5 220 DE/DT from Jacksonville, FL. Grant has great length and range. Can move side line to side line. He plays progressive, so he has to continue to be put in the best position, because he has the potential to be at his best even when he is having an off game. Kid ceiling can be that high. Rated 3 ๐ ๐ ๐
Alvon Isaac # 7
One of Florida’s most underrated athletes, and a freaky quick, and immensely dynamic playmaker between the numbers. Alvon can truly play anywhere on the field. But just this past year. Alvon scored 5 touchdowns midway through the season. SWAC conference does not let the MEAC get to Mr. Isaac’s service before your guys. He is that good. ๐. 3 ๐ ๐ ๐
Dallas Sims # 5
Dallas Sims will be a very good HBCU recruiting buzz, because Mr. Dallas is from one of the top Canadian Academy International in Clearwater, Florida. Already Mr. Sims is projected to be a 3 ๐ ๐ ๐ prospect potentially 4 ๐. The kid has been running clips routes since the 10th grade. ๐จ๐ฆ. Amazing ball skills.
