What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?
Football was always a sport I wanted to play as a kid. My mom wasn’t feeling it though she said it was too violent and thought basketball was cool but I still found a way to go out and play it. It grew on me and I just wanted it more then it stuck with me.
What are your favorite moments from your football life?
My first collegiate touchdown was the best. I caught a little slant for about 7 yards in the end zone. The feeling was unreal the fans, the coaches, my teammates it would be something I remember forever.
What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?
I just want to give myself the best opportunity to dominate my pro day. Open some eyes and prove myself and my worth for the next level.
If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?
I’ll say Davante Adams, he went to a group of 5 school he seems out of the way and he handles business. Just to see how he handled some of his challenges and just how he goes about his day and routines.
Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?
My mother, we lost my dad when I was four she helped me the best way she can to be where I’m at now. The drive and passion she has for everything she has been through keeps me going.
What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?
4 wide or 3 by 1 concepts you can break a defense down. You can create all types of mismatches across the board from slots and linebackers to the big dogs outside on the Corners. Not to mention vertical pass game and no huddle it’s over!
What should we know about Dennis Robinson the person?
I work hard and I’m a leader with my actions and my character around the facility and also away from the facilities. Whatever opportunity I get I’ll do it at the best of my ability God willing.
What stands out about your film the most?
I attack the ball, I’m twitchy and fast. Dominant and a freak.
How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?
I sit and think what all could have been done to avoid whatever the situation was and I pray about it. Once I come to a conclusion I address the problem (if needed) with the understanding of me probably not liking the consequences but I have to respect it and move forward.
What would a team get in a player like you?
A hardworking, selfless, coachable guy who just wants to work and push others to be great.
What do you love the most about the game of football?
Being out there with other guys you constantly practice with in all elements from rain, snow, sun everything. It’s not for the weak and you have to really love it to do it.
Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?
Fabian McCray, when he honestly gets a chance he’ll be tough!
