Former NFL pass rusher Aldon Smith faces 16 months in prison after pleading guilty to DUI arrest

Aldon Smith accepted a plea deal in his DUI case, according to TMZ Sports, and is now facing prison time over it.
Smith entered a guilty plea of nolo contendere to a felony charge of drunk driving causing injury. Because of his plea agreement he will not face more than 16 months in a state prison.
Smith was initially hit with two felony DUI charges in the case back in December 2021. Smith reportedly hit a stopped vehicle on the freeway causing multiple injureis to the driver.
Smith’s BAC was great than .15 at the time of the wreck. Smith was cut a couple months before the accident by the Seattle Seahawks.
Smith could get probation and prison if the Judge is nice.
