Steve Wilks better get the Panthers head coaching job, they are now 2nd place in the NFC South
The Carolina Panthers were horrible under Matt Rhule. They looked like a team that could not fight their way out of a paper bag. Since firing the current Nebraska head coach the Panthers are now in second place in the NFC South.
Rhule started the season off 1-4 before he was fired. Rhule did not care because he was quickly offered the Nebraska head coaching job and signed a lucrative 8-year deal.
David Tepper was at least willing to consider Steve Wilks as the head coach if he could see a turnaround, and man if he cannot see how the Panthers are playing I do not know what to say.
The former Arizona Cardinals head coach Steve Wilks is a leader of men, and you can tell. The players have rallied around him and are fighting week in and week out.
Week 14’s impressive win over the Seattle Seahawks moved the Panthers to a 5-8 record on the season as well as within one game of the NFC South lead. The team is now 4-4 under Wilks. Under Rhule this same team only won a single game. The Carolina Panthers players are buying into Wilks system.
If Steve Wilks leads the Panthers to the playoffs, and they do not hire him everyone in Carolina should be fired, and the owner should be forced to sell the team, because they do not want what is best for the organization.
