Broncos can Head Coach Nathaniel Hackett and several other coaches after a horrible first year
Nathaniel Hackett should not be in the NFL as a coach, especially a head coach. I do not know why coaches continue to get shots to coach in the NFL. Hackett has never proven to be a good coach and after an abysmal first year as the Broncos head coach he was fired after 15 games.
The Broncos are 4-11 and they look horrible. Hackett’s offense has people questioning whether or not Russell Wilson can play quarterback anymore. The Broncos may have ruined the former Seahawks star quarterback.
The Broncos did not just fired Hackett though, they fired offensive line coach Butch Barry and Special teams coordinator Dwayne Stukes.
This weekend against the Rams, the Broncos players quit, they got drug by the Rams and Baker Mayfield. The team erupted on the sidelines as well, and that was a huge reason the coach was fired, per NFL Insiders Ian Rapoport.
Rapoport continued to say,
“The play on the field was terrible. The quarterback play, terrible. But the fighting on the sideline may have been worse, because that was a sign that coach Nathaniel Hackett had really lost his team,” Rapoport said. “Complete disorganization on the sideline, players running amok, yelling at each other. It was all bad, but that was really a sign that it could actually get worse. Things could really implode in the locker room.”
I am not sure who will take over, but fans want to see Sean Payton come in and take Russell Wilson over and make him great again. Will it happen? Who knows, but the Broncos fans should be happy they got rid of the problem!
