What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Since the age of 3 I’ve been around football my entire life. I fell in love with the game when I was very first introduced to it. I’ve always been a tri-athlete but football has always been the most joyful and exciting game for me. The decision becoming a football player came pretty natural to me, it’s like I was born to play this fun physical sport and every since I’ve never looked back.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

My favorite moment in my football life is winning a national championship. I’ve always wanted to win a national championship, I’ve always dreamed of receiving a big natty ring and rocking it and that dream came true for me. I’ve been to several championship games and lost but in 2020 me and my team came out successful. I’ll always cherish that moment and it will never be forgotten.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

Going forward, firstly as a football player I want to achieve getting to the pros first and foremost. When I do achieve that I want to have the opportunity to play at the next level like I’ve always dreamed and worked for. I also want to learn from the vets in the league that’ll help me as a player on and off the field. Lastly I want to be able to give back to the community, I want to be able to come back to my hometown and do great things for the youth because growing up I didn’t have that guidance or motivation from people I looked up to so I want to be that person a kid looks up to and tell themselves if he can do it so can I.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

If I were granted the opportunity to hang with a football player it would be Ray Lewis of course. He’s just the definition of a DOG! He’s a leader and he makes sure his voice and heard. The physicality and excitement he brought to the game is just amazing and I’ve always admired it.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

The family member that inspires me the most is my sister Elysia. She’s overcome so many obstacles and she still manages to be great at what she does. She is my motivation, she is the reason why I tell myself I can do anything.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

I’m pretty versatile when it comes to defensive schemes, but if I had to pick one to be my favorite I’d for sure go with 4-3 defense. That’s because being in the 4-3 it’s give me so much more time to be patient and read my keys easily since I have 4 dlineman down slowing down things for me to play first. Us linebackers love having a great defensive line that could wreck things for us to come clean up. Just gotta love it!

What should you know about Luke Bowman the person?

What people should know about Luke Bowman is that he is a man that is dedicated to his dreams and goals. He’s very passionate and he also always puts God first. Without God there isn’t a Luke Bowman! Luke Bowman is a standup guy, he’s a leader on and off the field. He has integrity and he’s loves giving back to the youth.

What stands out about your film the most?

What stands out about me the most is that I’m full of laughs and smiles. If you ask a person about me that’ll be the first thing they say is that I bring bunch of laughs and smiles to the world. I feel that’s important and stands out the most because in this world we need positive and great vibes around and I bring that.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

Handling challenges on and off the field comes pretty natural to me since all my life I’ve always faced adversity. The way I handle any challenge is that I never shy away or back down from that. I stand on my 10 toes like a man and face them. That’s the only way you can overcome any challenges within life, you have to face them. Fearing and running away from any challenge will never be the solution.

What would a team get in a player like you?

What a team will get out of me is hard work and dedication! I’m very coachable too, there’s no such thing in knowing it all we all learn something new everyday. I’m aggressive, fast, and I love to have fun but mostly I’m also all about business!

What do you love the most about the game of football?

What I love the most about this great game of football is that I get the ability to have fun and jack people up at the same time without it being a crime. Sounds crazy but it’s 1000% free to bully and crack folks in this game and I love that I get to do that, that’s what makes the game fun and different.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

The most underrated player I’ve ever played with in my entire life is Cameron Dukes. He’s just different, he brings so much to the game for him to get overlooked. He’s definitely one of those guys that needs the opportunity to get to the league because he has everything it takes plus more. He’s also a great leader on and off the field.
