What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2023 NFL Draft?
I believe my athleticism, knowledge, and edge that I play with gives me an opportunity to be a great pick in this coming draft!
At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?
I asked my mom if I could play at an early age 11 for my local peewee team.
What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?
That you are getting a guy that loves football and big on family and would love nothing more to be a part of any team.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
Cerebral Palsy Foundation, My aunt suffers from this condition and even though it’s hard you always see a smile on her face and she’s my biggest fan.
What is the best advice you have ever received?
That if you want anything in life you have to believe and work hard expecting challenges along your journey.
Who was your childhood hero?
My Mom, watching her sacrifice for me and my sister and be the first woman to graduate college in our family and seeing what that took. Gave me the drive to be the first male to.
Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?
Micah Mazzccua our Left Guard has the talent and frame to be a top pick in this next year’s draft!
What is your biggest pet peeve?
When people make that noise with their nose, it sounds like they are snoring or somebody is putting their feet on me.
Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
I had to overcome having an injury that seemed to just happen with no cause where I had a herniated disc occur. Before the season missing camp without having a guarantee to play I came back and started the last 5 games helping my team reach season high rushing numbers.
Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?
The people here are what’s special. It’s a small private school with a lot of diversity and great people. I am grateful for the relationships I have made here.
What is your favorite snack food?
The Reese’s Fastbreak is a candy the I have liked since a kid
What is the best part of football?
The comradery playing with my brothers and making each other better at practice to get to the goal of winning a championship. Every day sharing the same problems and helping each overcome those issues whatever it may be.
If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?
That you’re getting a great player but an even better person.
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?
Trent Williams, I admire and study how fast he plays and his jump sets in pass pro.
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?
- Jay Z- He has always been one of my favorite artists, and he has built a strong portfolio with his investments. I would love to pick his mind
- My Grandpa- he passed away from covid unexpectedly . I would love to sit and talk about life with him one more time. He was so smart and had a huge mini library full of books that he read.
- Tyron Smith- Has been a vet that I have always looked up to in the leauge and admire his ability to play so well while still fighting injuries. Just being able to talk to him I feel I would soak up a lot of game from him.
