Jackson State football players are funneling to the Transfer Portal | Will they follow Coach Prime?

Deion Sanders movement is coming and it is starting to look like Coach Prime wasn’t about the SWAC, maybe he was about himself. I am not made at him for trying to better himself, but the players are quickly not buying into the HBCU movement.

There are already 13 Jackson State football players in the transfer portal. This includes both Shedeur and Shilo Sanders, Deion’s kids and #1 recruit Travis Hunter.

We are going to see how loyal Travis Hunter is, because there are already movements that Hunter could be in for a huge pay day in NIL if he returns to Georgia. There are rumors that Miami and Georgia have entered the Hunter sweepstakes and Coach Prime may not get to keep his prized possession.

After the Tigers loss against NCCU in the Celebration Bowl the players are funneling into the portal.

Deion said recently that about 10 of the players would come with him to Colorado, but according to On3, several could end up going elsewhere.

“Yep, the quarterback’s coming,” Deion Sanders said while being introduced on the Colorado campus. “Yep, about 10 more of them are coming and they’re dogs. They’re going to hunt and they’re going to eat. Anything else?”

On3 has several on their list who entered the portal, and now Football Scoop is mentioning some others who are not on the On3 list, so this list could go bigger than just 13. Tigers star kicker Alejandro Mata, Tayvion Beasley, Jacob Politte, Katron Evans and Joseph Johnson, among others all entered the portal.
