What makes you a top prospect at your position  in the 2023 NFL Draft?

What makes me a top prospect in my position is my confidence, my competitiveness, and decisiveness when making a decision to throw the football. What gives me the confidence in my ability is my Football IQ, and skill set. My ability to read a defense from the front end to the back end, and decipher what a defense is trying to do has helped me tremendously this year. Understanding the schemes of a defense has helped me get rid of the ball very quickly and precise.

Top-tier arm talent has always been what I’ve been known for as I can make any throw under any circumstance, even when having to extend a play. My athletic ability is also a skill that I work on, so that I can maintain hits, and extend plays when needed to help the offense.

My leadership has grown tremendously over the years, but I’ve always been a natural leader, I am a leader by example, but when something is needed to be said I will say it. Football IQ and understanding different Football Languages have also helped me tremendously throughout the years.

At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?

I became interested in the game of football at the age of 4 of began playing football at the age of 4.

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

One thing NFL teams should know about me. Is that I’ve had 5 different offensive coordinators and playbooks since I’ve been in college. So my ability to adjust on the fly is very advanced because of my Football IQ which has grown because of the different minds I’ve been around.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

If I could donate to one cause in the world it would be the research to cure Alzheimer’s.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

The best advice I have ever received is that “nobody can destroy what God has destined for you”. Because at the end of the day it’s his story.

Who was your childhood hero?

My childhood hero was always Walter “Sweetness” Payton. I would say he was my childhood hero because every time I watched him, he was never the biggest, strongest, or fastest, but he always gave 110%, no matter what his team asked him to do, whether it was to run, catch, or throw the ball.

Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?

Ellison Jordan (Defensive Tackle)

What is your biggest pet peeve?

My biggest pet peeve is when; “Someone starts to tell me something or ask a question, and then they say never mind”

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

My hardest moment to overcome was the loss of my brother Tyjuan when I was 19.

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

Bowie State was so special to me because of the family environment on the field and off the field. They accepted me as soon as I came to my first practice. The HBCU experience is not just a college, it’s a family.

What is your favorite snack food?

Skittles, or Skittles Gummies

What is the best part of football?

The best part about football is the competition, and being a quarterback you get to beat someone mentally and physically

If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?

If you want to Win, and have a teammate that will make the entire organization better, draft me.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?

Jalen Hurts

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

If I could have dinner with three people dead or alive it’d be Barack Obama, Peyton Manning, and my late brother Dwayne Haskins Jr. Barack Obama because he is hilarious and he is a role model for a lot of young African American kids. Peyton Manning is my favorite quarterback because of his intelligence, competitiveness, and how he made everyone around him better. Dwayne Haskins Jr because he is my brother, I miss him, and he’s from where I am from and he would be able to give me advice on how to move in the sports world while being a kid from the DMV.
