Derek Carr has left the Raiders after being benched | Does not want to be a distraction

Derek Carr was informed he was being benched by the Raiders and according to Jeff Howe of the Athletic, the former Fresno State gunslinger asked and received permission to leave the team for the last two weeks, citing a desire to avoid being a distraction.
The Carr situation is sad to be honest, and has the Raiders star wide receiver Davante Adams scratching his head. He claims Carr is the reason why he came to Vegas in the first place.
A report came out last night from ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler that accuracy issues became a huge problem for the Raiders.
Carr’s contract is structured in a way that allows the Raiders to get out from under more than $40 million in guarantees if they move on from the quarterback after the Super Bowl. This is almost guaranteed to happen now.
