What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2023 NFL Draft?
My first step is quickness which allows me to play on the other side of the line of scrimmage, and my power to create knockback against offensive linemen.
At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?
About 5 years old.
What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?
I’m a dedicated student of the game that’s always looking to learn something new.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
Providing better learning tools, such as smart tablets, to children in underprivileged school districts to help from being behind before they truly start.
What is the best advice you have ever received?
Be great where your feet are.
Who was your childhood hero?
Dez Bryant
Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?
Fred Lloyd. He’s a long physical receiver that can come up with some big time catches.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
When people complain about things in their life that they can easily control.
Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
I would say my time within the transfer portal. That was probably the first time in my life where I truly did not know what was next, but I stayed optimistic throughout the process.
Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?
The people at ULM are extremely genuine, and try to do what they can to make our experience positive.
What is your favorite snack food?
Tortilla chips
What is the best part of football?
The physical nature of the game.
If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?
I have all the next-level game traits for a defensive tackle, along with good football IQ, and the drive to keep improving.
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?
Grady Jarrett. I feel like the traits in our game are very similar, and we have similar measurements when it comes to size.
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?
My mom, dad, and brother. Since my brother and I are older now, we don’t get the chance much for us to have dinner together, so that’s why it would be special for me and somewhat nostalgic.
