Booger McFarland says Money is why Zach Wilson cannot take accountability
Zach Wilson did not take any responsibility for the Jets lose against the New England Patriots. In a Press Conference he was asked if he let his team down and he said “No”.
Well, Booger McFarland was on the set and took a huge shot at Zach Wilson saying he was basically entitled. Daniel Kelly a former writer for Draft Diamonds put a piece together years ago claiming this same problem.
“Let’s understand who this young man is before we ask him to accept a lot of responsibility. He’s a young man who grew up with a lot of money. I don’t think he’s ever had to accept accountability. So, now on the biggest stage, we want this quarterback to accept accountability,” McFarland said from the set of “Monday Night Football.”
Steve Young disputed that, but Booger continued to stick to his theory.
What do you think? Was it just a bad game? Or did the Jets QB truly let his team down?
