Steelers rookie Wide Receiver says practices at Georgia are harder than practices with the Steelers
George Pickens has turned into one of the better rookie wide receivers in the NFL, and this week when reporters asked him about the practices with the Steelers, he had a very interesting quote.
The rookie said that practices at Georgia were harder than the NFL because there was so much talent on the Georgia defense.
I do not think Pickens was trying to dog the Steelers defense, but rather highlight how dominant Georgia’s defense was last season en route to a national title.
Georgia had one of the greatest defenses of all time last year en route to their National Championship.
Obviously, people will take his quote out of text, but there is no one on the Georgia defense that can do what TJ Watt does day-in and day-out, so I can see why you may shake your head.
Either way, it is said, and it may piss some off, but he said what he said.
