What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?
I come from a football family I feel that if anything it was destined for myself to put on a helmet one day.
What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?
I’m looking forward to having the opportunity to compete as a professional athlete. It’s always been a dream of mine to be the best at what I do.
If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?
Ray Lewis. He would have something to teach me whether it be knowledge on the field or in regards to the league itself.
Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?
My parents both inspire me I’ve appreciated everything they have sacrificed in order for me to pursue what I love to do and just overall teaching me to open my perspective about a lot of things.
What are your favorite moments from your football life?
Winning the rivalry games are big part of the great memories I made while I was in college CMU vs WMU game is legendary in my eyes and it was a honor to play in those games.
What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?
I grew to love the 4-2-5 type of scheme I feel that it allows me to play multiple positions in certain schemes depending on my defensive coordinator but I’ve just became more familiar with more 3 down fronts and pressures so there’s a lot of opportunity in many schemes.
What should we know about George Douglas the person?
He’s great person to be around and is a honest working young man trying to do right by his people. Willing to go the extra mile for the people he cares about.
What stands out about your film the most?
I play sideline to sideline. I feel that my film shows the great patience. I have but also the high motor I have when hustling to the ball.
How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?
With an open perspective. I feel that it is vital when making critical decisions to see the whole picture so when the time is necessary I am able to focus on the task at hand in an efficient manner.
What would a team get in a player like you?
A playmaker. I feel that in the right scheme whether it be defense, offense or special teams I can make plays to affect the team in a positive manner. Practicing how I play and constantly being around the ball and refuses to be out worked.
What do you love the most about the game of football?
The opportunity the game brings. You meet so many people from so many different places once you join a new team and that’s always been a thing of mine. Playing with my brothers no matter the team has always been a great privilege as well.
Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?
I feel I’m the most underrated player. I’ve always had an insane work ethic but always seem to come up short as a team when it comes to championship I carry that chip on my shoulder every time I touch that field. The level of play I am trying to be at requires you to think in a professional athlete mindset.
