Commanders disciplined their players over an alcohol-related incident on a team plane
Yesterday, the NFL posted the rules for NFL teams related to alcohol on team planes. This happened after Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator Todd Downing was arrested for DUI hours after their game with the Packers.
Well, many photos started being shared showing the players on the team plane for the Commanders with beer. Even Busch Beer made a comment on the photo on Twitter.
Well, the Commanders moved quickly and disciplined their players in-house, and the NFL was cool with it.
An NFL spokesman said of the #Commanders: “The league reviewed the matter this week and we’re satisfied with the discipline administered by the club.” The NFL is still reviewing the #Titans situation from last night. Mike Vrabel said the club is cooperating with the league.
The ride’s home will not be as fun, but hopefully it will keep the players safe….
