What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?
What made me decide to play football was just acknowledging how great my Grandad and Dad were at playing. Listening to stories, watching real film footage on them and also looking up their stats. I knew I was destined to play football.
If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?
If I could hang out with any football player, it would be either Jalen Ramsey or Trevon Diggs. Listening and taking in their knowledge at defensive back. I feel it will help me evolve into a better player as well.
What sets you apart from other defensive backs?
What sets me apart from other defensive backs is that I have the strong will to continue to get better while also having the urge for dominance. One thing for sure, I will make it my main job to make sure the other guy across the ball will feel me every single last play.
How do you prepare for games?
The way that I prepare for games is that I start off with a great pre game meal. Afterwards, I find any scripture that I mostly relate to during that current time and then write those scriptures on my taped wrists alongside with my forever saying “Trust God”. Continuously, I will proceed to say multiple prayers within myself and prayers with my teammates. Prayer and great nutrition is how I prepare for games.
Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?
The most underrated player that I have played with will have to be either CT Thomas or Bryce Brown. Seeing the way that those guys work consistently everyday while also making many plays on the field is an inspiring thing to see. Seeing how those guys continue to get overlooked because of potentially their size is crazy.
What are your favorite moments from your football life?
My favorite moments in my football life is one of them being my senior year of high school going on a winning streak all the way to the 4th round of the Texas high school playoffs. One of my other favorite moments was having one of my best games ever in front of my family my sophomore year of college. Another favorite football moment for me is currently happening right now, being 6-0 in the MIAA currently.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?
The way that I handle challenges both in life and on the football field is by standing on two words that I feel I need to always remember when times get bad and while also times are good and that is “Trust God”.
What would a team get in a player like you?

What are you looking to improve the most as a football player this upcoming season?
What I am looking to improve during this 2022 football season is to always work on my technique to make sure I am at my best on Saturday’s. Plus, improving on knowledge of the game, things like film and formations.
What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?
The type of energy I bring to the team is contagious positive energy. When it comes to bringing energy, I make sure the entire team feels it. Confidence booster, I make guys who don’t favor or know how to tackle want to run through a person’s chest, that’s the type of energy I bring to a team.
