Davante Adams deletes his apology on Twitter after he was cited for assault
Davante Adams quickly apologized to the cameraman he shoved on the ground after the Raiders loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night, but that was not enough for the cameraman.
Yesterday, Davante Adams was served a citation for the misdemeanor assault charge and if the man wins he could face up to a maximum of 180 days in jail or a fine from 250 dollars to 1000 dollars.
Well, even though Adams apologized and told reporters he was sorry, he posted a tweet that read:
“Sorry to the guy I pushed over after the game. Obviously very frustrated at the way the game ended and when he ran infront of me as I exited that was my reaction and I felt horrible immediately. Thats not me..MY APOLOGIES man hope you see this,” Adams tweeted.
Well, you can no longer find that tweet. Adams has apparently deleted the post. I would assume the NFL is going to punish him for this action.
