The safety was arrested overnight and charged with assault on a female, trespassing, and misdemeanor battery of an unborn child.
Chapman, a 6-1, 195-pound senior safety from San Diego, is a leader of the Tarheels defense.
According to ABC 11, UNC is aware of the situation and they are working to gather more information.
