Former NFL football player burned his ex-girlfriend’s body before burying her remains | Facing Life in Prison
Kevin Ware Jr. a 41-year-old former NFL football player is accused of murdering his 29-year-old ex-girlfriend and the details in the case are scary.
Kevin Ware played in the NFL for the Washington Redskins and the San Francisco 49ers and if convicted he could spend life in prison.
Harris County District Attorney’s Office announced on July 28 that former San Francisco 49ers and Washington Redskins tight-end Ware, 41, was charged with murder and tampering with a corpse after he killed 29-year-old Pomaski.
Court documents claim Ware killed Pomaski before burning her dead body and then burying what was left of her.
Ware will remain in Harris County Jail in Houston until September 28th when he has a hearing scheduled.
Police suspected foul play from the minute Pomanski went missing, but this is a pretty heinous act. To burn the body of someone you killed is pre-meditated and deserves punishment. The least amount of time he could get if found guilty is 15-years.
