USFL MVP KaVontae Turpin could be the most elusive Dallas Cowboy on the roster
USFL MVP KaVontae Turpin absolutely tore it up tonight. The former TCU standout has two touchdowns for the Dallas Cowboys and has been proving to everyon he deserves in the NFL.
He never got a shot in the NFL out of school. Many said Turpin had off-the-field issues, and he was too small. He was super productive in college, and he was the USFL MVP, and now he is tearing up the NFL too.
Tonight, the small and speedy return man took a kickoff return 98 yards to the house and helped the Cowboys get it going against the Chargers.
It was not long after he took a kickoff return to the house, the little speed demon took a punt return for 86 yards to the house.
The Cowboys have found a weapon, and it was all thanks to the USFL. Without leagues like the USFL, players like KaVontae Turpin do not get a shot in the NFL. This is great to see, Congrats little man.
He is so damn elusive, and is one of the fastest players on the field. Turpin is only 5’8 but he is one of the quickest players, and if a team is looking for a guy to play the slot or to be utilized like Isaiah McKenzie of the Bills, he could be a great addition. He is only 25 years old, and he is forcing the Cowboys to keep him around.
