What do your teammates say is your best quality?

How focused I am day in and day out, I have a different type of intensity.

What kind of role do you see yourself in on the team? What scheme and/or position suits your skill set?

I see myself in a leadership role – especially being a second-year starter. I really enjoy the air raid system – I can play both inside and outside.

Who is the best player you have ever played against in college?

BJ Bohler, DB, Mercer

Which one of your teammates impresses you the most?

John Boyd, DB

What makes you different from others at your position?

My playing style – I consider myself to be smooth and elusive especially with my change of direction. I also believe I have a high football IQ.

Describe a time in your life when you were able to overcome a struggle.

Sophomore year I suffered a broken rib – I had to rehab and it took some time but I knew the world wasn’t going to end.

If you didn’t play football, what other sport would you play?

Baseball was my first love – I was all over the baseball field.

What is something that you are most proud of? What would you say is your biggest achievement?

This semester I earned a 4.0 GPA – it was the first time I’ve ever done it and it felt great knowing I played football at the same time.

Describe one of the most memorable plays of your collegiate career.

At Presbyterian freshman year, down a touchdown I caught a slot fade and we went on to win the game. First “big time” moment.

Do you have a favorite athlete or professional team? Is there a player that you model your game after?

Favorite team: New York Giants

I model my game after Antonio Brown and Stefon Diggs

What gets you “pumped up” before a game?

Seeing all of my teammates and just enjoying the moment – college football Saturdays don’t last forever.

What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any hobbies? Any secret talents?

I know how to play the piano. I also model for my brother’s design brand.

Why do you play football? Who or what motivates you the most?

I have loved the game since I was a kid – it teaches you about challenges and how to truly become a man.

What do you want NFL teams to know about you?

I pay attention to details and that I’m always focused. This is what matters to me most.

Other notes:

Went to Norcross – 7A school in Georgia. I wasn’t a starter right away – played one good game and got hurt freshman year. I was a starter on JV in sophomore year. Eventually got put up to varsity at the end of that season – junior year I had a special teams role on varsity. Then I got hurt again and sat out most of junior season. Senior year I got the most buzz – but mostly from DIII programs. Started at Presbyterian – got a lot of playing time in my true freshman season. Sophomore year I had a bit of a slump – I decided to transfer to Delta State because I knew one of the coaches. This is the place I knew I wanted to be.
